Published work on EV of steering plays?

Hi all,

Is there published work anywhere containing tables of the different EVs of different hands and on hitting known cards onto them? Also on the EV of steering cards into the dealer’s hole?

Obviously many decisions are intuitive and others would be based on not arousing suspicion (doubling a hard 20 when you know the next card is an A may be positive EV but probably not a wise move!) but I’d love to know for sure some of the less obvious choices.

For example, let’s say you had been playing two boxes and you happened to know the fourth card from the top was a deuce. You wouldn’t want to keep two boxes out, as that would give the deuce to yourself on the first box BUT, would it be preferable to raise your bet, drop a box and put the deuce in the dealers hole (giving you both a positive expectation on the hand AND additional HC knowledge) OR better to add a hand (assuming the casino allows you to play 3 boxes) raise your bet on all three boxes, therefore steering the deuce to the dealer as their upcard (giving you a positive expectation on 3 large bets instead of one, without any HC info)?

Or, as another example, let’s say you have dropped to one box and you are dealt a pair of 9s against a 3, but you also know the very next card is a 6.

Would you follow basic and split the 9s, knowing that you will be giving yourself a hard 15 on one side of the split, and an unknown card on the other, still against dealer’s 3

OR

Stand on the 9s (which is probably better for cover purposes anyway), and force the 6 onto the dealer, knowing that if their Hole card is A/T, you will lose, and a 9 will give you a draw, with a 2-8 giving you the win.

If anyone knows where I can find published data on this I’d be very grateful, thank you!
