I have basic strategy down 99%. I live in an area with one casino and shoe games start at $25. I would like a make a couple of hundred after a few hours of playing and at a minimum have fun while not loosing after a few hours of play. Which counting system in your opinion is the way to go?

Thanks

You need to define your expectations better.
No system will insure you win a couple of hundred dollars every session, but what do you consider a couple hundred? Lets assume you mean three hundred after four hours of play, so you want to win $75 an hour on average.
Depending on the game conditions, it's not hard with the proper skill and bankroll. In the long run, a decent counter should win around one unit an hour, if not more.
So $75 an hour average win means a $75 average bet, which calls for a BR of around $30,000. How much of a spread you need depends on the game itself.
Just be prepred for a roller coaster ride where you may drop thousands of dollars a session for multiple sessions during the downswings.

No counting system will guarantee you this outcome. You have to understand BR, ROR, Spread
People with 1 post typically don't know what your acronyms mean. Those are bankroll, risk of ruin, and the difference between your minimum and maximum bet.

Unfortunately, we would all like this. With $25 mins you would probably need at least a $10k bankroll for an acceptable risk without back-counting (standing behind the game and watching, and jumping in to play only positive counts).

The way counting works is you may have an advantage of, say, $50 an hour. But you don't show up and get $50 in an hour. You land somewhere between +$2050 and -$1950. After a long time, the fluctuations start to even out, but this is hundreds or even thousands of hours.

Read more, and then draw your own conclusions.

There are many good counting systems out there. They will all get the money, but certain systems are better suited to certain games. So a question you need to ask yourself is, what games do I expect to be playing most frequently?

But the best system will always be the one you can REMEMBER and PLAY PERFECTLY.
