One of the better posts recently said something about keeping good records. I am a serious recreational player and just log my approx time actually on the tables, the date and the outcome.
What else should I be tracking. Where I play and the time of day? The pit bosses and heat levels? Rule changes.
While we are at it how many hours do I need to log before I get an idea of my EV? I know what you are going to say, not enough information, right.
And speaking of record keeping maybe you should keep backcounting records apart as they may not give an accurate glimpse of your EV since you are just snipping off the most profitable parts of many games. Wonging in on TC 2 and out at minus one/two seems so superior to play all or just wonging out at say minus one or two.
