Tunica and Shreveport

I haven't been to Shreveport lately, but in Tunica you'll find good one and two deck games at the Horseshoe still. Fitzgeralds offered a great game for many years, but I'm hearing it has tightened up considerably. Still, it's probably worth a check. Shop for a good dealer at two-deck.

shreveport casinos

teckster, maybe I can help. We Have Horseshoe, Boomtown, Isle of Capri, Samstown and El Dorado. Horseshoe has (1) 5 seat, $25 min., 3:2, single deck table. Needless to say, it is always full. They play 2 rounds(less than 50% penetration), but I have done better here than the others. BJinsider rated the Isle 2 deck $25 min. the best, Samstown 2nd(the only one with surrender, and Horseshoe 3rd. El Dorado seems to be tight on everything, but it and Horseshoe are the only ones that you don't feel like you are on a boat. P. S. Go to Horseshoe early in A. M. to get on single decktable. Good Luck!!!

Tunica casinos

As Ken said the Horseshoe still has many single and double deck games, and in my opinion the best place to play. Things are looking back up as both Fitzgeralds and Gold Strike have done away with their 6 to 5 single deck games and gone back to 3-2. Both of these casinos now have good games both single and double deck. The Grand and Sam's Town also have single and double deck 3-2 games. I have never been in Resorts but have heard they even pay 6 to 5 on double deck, so I would avoid this casino. All have basically the same rules which are some of the best in the US.

The resorts paid 5/6 on double deck at the 10.00 min table when I was there, but paid 3/2 on the 25.00 min double deck table

The only other Casino in Tunica not mentioned is the Sheraton, In March I played single and double deck at 5.00 min tables

I will be back in Tunica two weeks

Patron abuse by casino guards and local police

What's with the "overzealous security and city police?"
There have been severe abuses of brain-using patrons by casino security guards and officers of the Shreveport and Bossier City Police Departments, resulting in at least two large legal settlements. The Shreveport/Bossier City area is considered by some skilled players to be too dangerous to visit.
