In the above video, move to the 18:00 mark. After the 18:00 mark, at some point, the dealer takes the shoe and empties it, shuffles, and has the player cut before the cut-card is reached.
Any reason as to why?

I agree. She said "thank you very much" and may have made some sort of gesture that led the dealer to believe that she was through playing (although the bet is still in the circle). Seemed perfectly natural to me.LC Larry said:My thoughts as well.
