I don't have my book right now its at home and there is a free tournament through my college.

for 6 deck i use an IRC of 0 so my key count is 16 and my pivot is 24

Using an IRC= 0 for all decks calculate the Pivot by multiplying the decks x 4. The Key depends on the rules and pen, but as a general guideline use these numbers with an IRC= 0.
1 deck = 2
2 deck = 5
4 deck =11
6 deck =16
8 deck =22

you shouldent be counting in a tournament
This.

You don't play enough hands in a tournament to make counting worth it - that is, if the game is countable at all; they might use single-deck and shuffle after every hand.

Counting gives you a long-term advantage, not a short-term advantage. Being able to size your bets properly will be much more advantageous.
