what do you do when you are "butchered"?

Hi

I guess every player here has been "butchered", what i mean is you lose more than 10 sometimes 30 times in a row or have only 10 wins from 100 hands .

since these are computer programs with endless cards, does anyone have a method how to stop the killing? i don't mean to continue playing and hope the odds will even out, i mean things like log-off, turn off pc and start again, take a day free from the table or switch to slots or video poker for a few rounds.

i'm not so much concerned about my bankroll as i am about my health and the neighbours hearing

any advice would be appreciated.

It's highly unlikely that you can do anything to stop the suffering.

However, as I myself sometimes think that computers can get overly streaky, I'll pause and count to five or so before dealing the cards again. That's my own concession to superstition.

Incidentally, at the same casino, last week I won almost $250. Just this evening, during a shorter session, I lost almost $300. Fortunately, various bonuses still bring me positive, which is really the whole point.
