Ameristar looks nice but when I stayed, there were hundreds of very small hairs in the shower and on the floor that were not mine - it was disgusting !

Panhandler asked for me money in the casino.

I have stayed twice at the Horizon and I really enjoyed it - much older but nice rooms, clean, quiet and just an elevator ride to the casino. HOWEVER, panhandlers have hustled me for money INSIDE the casino! I complained to security and they caught them and threw them out. Also outside the Horizon especially at night is like downtown LV away from the casinos and lights - scarey!

Act like a local, travel in a group, bring a weapon, and don't go out after dark and you'll be fine!
