Will I Be Cut Any More Slack In My "Home Casino"?

Greetings to all,

I'm a Diamond level member with Harrah's and I want to make the transition from slots to include BJ (for obvious reasons) but I'm worried about eventually doing something stupid and getting barred from both my Home Casino and the entire Harrah's network nationwide. At Diamond, the comps have been great and I don't want the boot. My one-year goal would be to see if BJ could fund my annual slot play in the event I have a losing slot year (gee, what are the odds of that).

I understand there are both 6D DAS S17 NS games and 8D DAS H17 NS games in my Home Casino with minimums of $10 to $15. (By the way, I'm learning KO counting method.)

My questions are:

1. What spread (and maximum dollar values) am I OK with in my Home Casino? That is, do they ususally cut you more slack when they consider you're a Diamond level slot player with a ton of play? Which raises another question I've never understood:

2. Do I identify myself and actually give them my Total Rewards Card when I buy in?

3. What spreads (and maximum dollar values) am I OK with when I'm not in my Home Casino and I'm anonymous?

Thank you very much advance!

Best regards,

FD

Assuming there are other casinos nearby, your best bet is play BJ at a non-HET casino and keep playing slots for your Diamond comps.

I thought I recalled reading a thread here once where a BJ player (who also plays slots or VP) was advised by a forum expert that he was OK to play BJ on spreads of X to X and dollar amounts up to $XXX because of his slot/VP play (but of course I can't find the thread now).

Thanks again,

I've been barred from a Harrah's property, and strangely, no one's told the marketing department, I keep getting random offers in the mail for all sorta of HET properties. (and I've been able to take advantage of room stays, etc).

However, I don't think my odds of earning any more comps with BJ play are likely.

You should be able to get away with *something* at your home casino. What is going to depend on how sweaty/observant the casino is, how you play, and your act.

If you're truly a regular there, I doubt that playing unrated at the tables would help.

I've heard of players getting mail offers for years. Took the comps, never gambled, and continued to receive the same offers.
