Yield per Hour?

#1
Hey Fellas,

In Kevin Blackwood's "Play blackjack like the pro's" he talks about yields per hour of certain games using both the Hi-Lo and Hi-Opt 2 counting systems.
He doesn't give examples of the math behind it.

Could someone tell me the yield per hour in this type of game..

6 Deck, 1.5 to 2.0 Penetration, H17, DOA, DAS, (Only get one card when splitting aces)

House Advantage = .66

The reason I want to play this game is because the casino gives no heat whatsoever.. I truely beleive i could sit there 350 Hours per month using a 1-20 betting spread and not get barred.

Could someone give me the numbers for
Hi-Opt 2, 1 - 2x6 betting spread, risk of ruin, Yield per hour
Hi-Opt 2, 1 - 20 betting spread, risk of ruin, Yield per hour

Now for the embarrasing part, being a student I have a very limited bankroll of 2500$. Is this game beatable??

Thanks,

PS - I originally posted this in the blackjack betting strategies, Could the Admin delete that post?

Penetration = 1.5 to 2.0 decks remaining.

Sorry about the confusion.

And i do realise its not great BUT, its like I said, they give no heat whatsoever.

Serge I don't know the edge Hi-opt 2 would give you as I've never used it but its probably around 1%. If you were to play 60 hands an hour at a $5 table and your average bet was 2 units your gross betting would be $600/hr. 1% of that is $6/hour. Working at McDonalds might be an easier and less stressful way to make some money. I'm not trying to be sarcastic here either. With only $2500 it is very risky using a 1-20 bet spread. On a $5 table your maximum bet will be $100 or 4% of your bankroll. What if you hit a losing streak when betting 20 units? Say you lose two double downs in a row with your max bet out your account would drop 16% in just two hands.

My advice would be if you are ok with the possibility of losing your $2500 than go for it. Otherwise save up until you have at least $10,000 before using a 1-20 bet spread.
