You might as well look around while you’re there, since you’re going anyway.

OK rules, but some of the worst penetration I’ve ever seen in any casino (several cutting 3/6). Keep your eyes open, though.

    Prague

Hi, was there last year and the games were not great.
Most casinos are around Wenceslas Square. I felt uneasy in all except the Hilton which is further out.

Some games are OK, but huge heat according to me. 6D, ENHC, DAS, DA2, NRSA, ES10. Pen does vary (50% is not rare, but it’s not so hard to find 70%+) and some casinos have CSM’s.

Casino “Aleks” (former Henry) suspected of cheating.

    Pay attention when changing money!
    1) exchange rates for USD and Euros may vary A LOT between exchange points
    2) near to some exchange points you may find persons trying to convince you to change money with them. Never tried it of course, big risk of getting robbed or cheated.

    trackable?
    how is the shuffle?
    1 pass or 2 pass?

  • teddymXI

Not trackable shuffles, according to me, never found a one-pass shuffle. Maybe somebody with better skill in tracking would have another opinion. In some casinos some minor shuffle elements are dealer dependent.

In England I know of several places where certain dealers use only a 1 pass R&R.

MAF103, if possible post a trip report here when you get back.

All the APs I know, say that the good blackjack games in Prague have been burned and it is difficult to find a good game now.

Hey BOND, you may want to check the spelling in your signature. Believe you were aiming for persevering.

Not sure if MAF103 is back or not, but this is an 18 month old thread.

FWIW, last time I was in Prague (admittedly 2008) it was ordinary at best! Even if I could find a decent game, I was the only player with an entire pit watching me!
