Quick and easy to follow, but the headline bet is not the best one. Red or blue to win returns 93.75% because it loses on a draw, while the draw itself, single numbers and odd or even all return 95.00%.

Each chance is exact: two fair dice give 36 equally likely red and blue pairs.

Pays shows the total returned for a 1 unit winning bet, stake included, as the game displays it. RTP is the share of all money bet that comes back over a very long run; house edge is the rest. Neither predicts a single session.

How Dice Duel works

Dice Duel uses two ordinary dice, one red and one blue. The presenter shakes them in a dice box and rolls them onto a sloping table, and the two faces decide every bet.

1 30 sec

Choose your bets

Back red or blue to roll higher, a draw, a number on either die, odd or even, or a total. The betting round lasts about 30 seconds.

2 2 dice

The presenter rolls

Both dice must settle flat in the marked area. A die on its edge, off the table or outside the zone means a repeat roll.

3 36 results

Bets settle

The red face and the blue face make one of 36 combinations, and every bet is paid at the odds shown when it was placed, stake included.

Red against blue

Each roll is one of 36 equally likely pairs. Red rolls higher in 15 of them, blue in 15 and the two match in 6. Red to win pays 2.25, a fair price would be 2.40, so the bet returns 93.75%. A draw pays 5.70 on its 1 in 6 chance and returns 95.00%.

That makes the duel itself the dearest of the everyday bets. If you like the drama of red against blue, know that each roll where both dice match takes the stake on both colors.

Numbers, odd and even, totals

A chosen number on the red die, or on the blue, pays 5.70 and returns 95.00%. Odd or even on either die or on the total pays 1.90 at an even chance, also 95.00%. An exact red and blue pair pays 34.00 on a 1 in 36 chance and returns 94.44%.

The total lines run from 4.5 to 9.5. The outer lines return 95.00% both ways, but the lines nearest the middle cost more: under 6.5 or over 7.5 at 2.25 return 93.75%.

A live roll, checked on video

The dice are rolled once per round unless a roll is invalid, and the result is read from the video if the sound and the presenter disagree. Rounds follow each other with only the 30 second betting window in between, so the game moves quickly.

The math behind Dice Duel

Two dice, 36 equally likely results. Every chance on this page is a count out of 36, and every return is that chance times the odds.

Why the duel costs more than the draw

Red wins 15 of 36 rolls. Fair odds would be 2.40; the game pays 2.25, so 15/36 of 2.25 is 93.75%. The draw wins 6 of 36, fair odds 6.00, paid at 5.70: 95.00%.

Totals near the middle

Totals of 6, 7 and 8 are the most common. The lines that split them, under 6.5 or over 7.5, pay 2.25 on a 15 in 36 chance and return 93.75%, the lowest in the totals group.

The rules at your casino may show different figures; its in game help is the version that applies to you.

Is there a Dice Duel strategy?

No. Dice have no memory, and no pattern of rolls changes the next one. What you control is the price: the duel returns 93.75%, the draw and single numbers 95.00%.

Backing both colors loses on every draw

Equal stakes of 1 on red and blue bring back 2.25 for the 2 staked in 30 of 36 rolls, a small profit, and lose both stakes in the other 6. Together they return 93.75%, the same as either alone.

The extra numbers bet is not cheaper

An exact red and blue pair pays 34.00 but returns 94.44%, below a single number on one die at 95.00%.

What you can control

Your cost per roll

House edge, cheapest first. A shorter bar costs less.

  1. Draw (both the same) and 12 more5.00%
  2. Total over 6.5 and 1 more5.50%
  3. Your exact red and blue pair and 2 more5.56%
  4. Total over 5.5 and 1 more6.11%
  5. Red rolls higher and 3 more6.25%

Mind the pace

A round every minute or so means many bets an hour. A small stake per roll keeps a session from running away.

Choose bets at 95%

The draw, single numbers, odd or even and the outer totals all return 95.00%. The duel and the middle totals cost more.

Дуэль на костях ЧАСТО ЗАДАВАЕМЫЕ ВОПРОСЫ

What is the RTP of Dice Duel?

The game rules state 95%. At the standard odds the draw, single numbers, odd or even and the outer total lines return 95.00%, while red or blue to win returns 93.75%.

What happens to a red or blue bet on a draw?

It loses. A draw is its own bet, so when both dice show the same number only bets on the draw (and on matching numbers or totals) win.

How often does Dice Duel end in a draw?

In 6 of the 36 possible rolls, or one roll in six on average. It pays 5.70 for each 1 staked.

How long is a round of Dice Duel?

The betting round lasts about 30 seconds, then the presenter rolls. A new betting round starts as soon as the result is in.

Are the dice ever rerolled?

Yes, when a roll is invalid: a die on its edge, off the table, outside the marked zone, or rolled before betting closed. The repeat roll is the one that counts.
