A straight up win on a Mega Lucky Number pays its multiplier. Any other straight up win pays 29 to 1, and every other bet pays its usual amount.
What the Mega Multipliers change
Mega Roulette uses an ordinary European wheel with numbers 0 to 36 and every standard bet, including the racetrack bets Voisins du Zero, Tiers, Orphelins and the Zero Game. The difference is the reveal: once betting closes, between one and five Mega Lucky Numbers light up, each with a Mega Multiplier from 50x to 500x. If the ball lands on one and you have a straight up chip on it, you get the MEGAWIN, up to 500 times your bet.
Who gets the multiplier
Only straight up bets can win a Mega Multiplier. Splits, corners, dozens, columns and the even money bets pay their usual amounts on every number, Mega Lucky Number or not. To fund the multipliers, an ordinary straight up win pays 29 to 1 rather than 35 to 1. Mega Bets are a shortcut for covering many numbers with straight up chips: Mega Chances cover all 18 numbers of red, black, odd, even, low or high one chip each, Mega Dozens and Mega Columns cover 12, and Bet on All covers all 37.
What it costs
Pragmatic’s game rules give a return of 97.50% on straight up bets and 97.30% on every other bet. So the multipliers more than make up for the reduced 29 to 1 payout, and a straight up chip is very slightly cheaper than an outside bet. Auto Mega Roulette
Auto Mega Roulette is the same game with an automatic wheel and no presenter, so rounds come faster. It has the same Mega Lucky Numbers, the same 50x to 500x range and the same paytable.

What the Mega Multipliers are worth
An ordinary straight up win pays 29 to 1 here, not 35 to 1, so on its own it returns only 81.08% (30 ÷ 37). The published return on a straight up bet is 97.50%. The other 16.42 points come from the Mega Multipliers.
After betting closes, one to five Mega Lucky Numbers are picked at random and each gets a Mega Multiplier from 50x to 500x. A winning straight up bet on one of them is paid its multiplier instead of 29 to 1.
Averaged over every win, that means a winning straight up bet pays about 35.08 to 1, a little above the 35 to 1 of an ordinary table: the big multipliers are paid for by all the ordinary 29 to 1 wins.
Every other bet keeps its normal payout and returns 97.30%, which makes straight up 0.20 points cheaper than every other bet. Outside bets are not touched by the feature at all. Pragmatic lets casinos run other return settings; the game help at your casino shows the figures it uses.

No. The Mega Lucky Numbers are drawn after betting closes, every number keeps its 1 in 37 chance, and no bet returns more than 97.50% over time.
You cannot aim for the multipliers
The Mega Lucky Numbers appear only once betting has closed, so no number can be chosen for its multiplier. A number that was lucky last round is no more likely to win this one.
Mega Bets spread chips, not odds
Covering 18 numbers with Mega Chances costs 18 chips. One of them wins 48.65% of the time, but a win usually pays 29 to 1 on one chip while the other 17 lose.
