    thinking about getting CVData software

Definitely get it! It's a must if you want to run simulations.

What is the correct thing to do in this case?

I don't understand this point. I would wait at least half or three quarters of the shoe since it's at the end of the shoe when your "advantage" (calculated throught true count) is more relevant. Blace

    Indices

I do play ES10 but unfortunately for you I use zen. I could give you my numbers and dividing them by two you will hopefully get those for hi-lo? Anyway,it wouldn't be 100% correct so you'd better run a simulation in order to get them right. Blace

    advanced red seven strategy indices

Good point. :) As you and aslan conclude later it's nonsense to True Count an unbalanced count because avoiding it is the main reason why people use them. Blace

    advanced red seven strategy indices

I would recommend you to switch to Zen because it performs great on 2 decks and 6 decks which is what you are playing. I switched some time ago (from hi-lo) and I feel really comfortable using it. Hi-lo performs relatively ok but it's more suited for pitch games. Blace

    advanced red seven strategy indices

Red7 has almost the same performance in 6 decks and very slightly better in 2 decks (depending on other game conditions) as you can see here I would stick with KO preferred because I think it's not worth it the change. Blace PS: Anyway, if you are serious about BJ I would recommend you to...

    advanced red seven strategy indices

It depends. There are some questions to ask: Which system are you using at the moment? Which are the conditions of play do you face the most? How many hours do you play in a session? Do you feel tired at the end of the session with the count you are using at the moment?, etc Blace

You can generate all of them in Casino Verité Blackjack. In fact, i have just done it! Blace

    Doubts on CVIndex

Ok, thank you. I will learn this new indexes ;) It looks like the difference between Expectation Maximizing and Risk-Averse Indexes is something like 0.00x in EV but I think any help is good. I may try to simulate and get the SCORE for both games and see what's the "real" difference. :rolleyes...

    Doubts on CVIndex

Hi, I have just simulated my own indices for the game I play and I don't understand some numbers on the report. What do the numbers under Double down/No double down/Difference mean? I guess it's something like win rate but I'm not sure. Also, I would like to know if you think of interest...

    Doubling Bet everytime you lose...??

I think if you have lost half of your trip bankroll in a cycle you should stop and start over. Besides that, I think what really makes it a losing method is the limit of the table. Anyway, if the limit of the table is 500$ and your min bet is 1$, the bet progression is so slow that you would...

    Doubling Bet everytime you lose...??

Yes, that's right. It's a W L W L W L streak which makes you fail as Thunder said. Obviously this is not so frequent (1:500, i think i read one time) so it's not a very bad strategy if you go to the casino 4 or 5 times a year.

    Doubling Bet everytime you lose...??

    It is explained here: http://www.blackjackforumonline.com/content/Betting_Systems_Oscars_Blackjack_System.htm

    Doubling Bet everytime you lose...??

I would recommend trying Oscar instead of Martingale. It maximizes winning streaks while minimizes losing streaks. Blace

Confusion over index plays: CVBJ vs Gamemaster

Yes, it is. Sorry for the bump but i found this and it is a very interesting thread to read. I think i am going to re-calculate my indices. I will do a full set of RA indices for Zen. If anyone is interested just let me know and i will start a new thread on the Theory and Math section. Blace
