btw what is an ap? advanced player? what is an "advanced player"? people who count cards, or just know basic strategy?

it was just that i got really lucky when i didn't know what i was doing and unlucky with when i did know what i was doing....i'm sure it will pay off in the long run :P

the other day i went to a casino for the first time and i knew nothing about blackjack. i was doing stuff like hitting with 14 while the dealer showed 5, i didn't double down or split the whole time, etc....but i still came out with around 3 times my starting balance. i came home and played...

i did a cycle and i got 2 wrong...they were both careless mistakes though cause i started to try and go fast. i definitely don't have the basic strategy memorized as in its second nature to me, i just have it memorized as in if given a couple seconds to think about it i know what to do for...

oh yeah and another thing, do most casinos let you surrender? how do you know if a casino allows it? also, what's the signal for surrendering?
