Da Bash!
Ok.. I've recovered now. The numbers have ceased swirling in my head. The nightmares about giant pit critters holding spreadsheets with my name on them have subsided. Maxed out tables are fading fast
The Bash was a blast. It was great fun seeing the "Young Guns" pushing the envelope of longevity. It was a true pleasure to meet every one of the attendees and and a few of their spouses. What a diverse bunch of folks!
CP... You are the Man! Thanks for the gracious hospitality and never ceasing encouragement. You are one fun AP to watch in action!
Sage and Y... I was a great to meet you guys and I liked the way you set your target and stuck with it. Smart fellow.
Machinist... I will never ever look at slot machines/VP/EBJ/ the same way again. Really impressive. Maybe we can get a group rate at the same institution, you crazy SOB!
Marty... I didn't think you stood out THAT much. But you might want to get a hat.. and maybe slouch a little. Also, you might want to think about your priorities. Those girls were kind of cute and make great camo. :laugh: Fine Job. (Order that Pilatus)

to my new found friends of the bash
I have been thinking how i can ever repay you guys. I want to do something fun!!!! Everyone of you have a very unique personality. The main word that comes to my brain when i am thinking of one of the greatest weekends of my life is " Focused". WOW!!!!
In my world, as i explained to some of you, i know of 1 and possibly 2 people that take what i do seriously. Great money has been made over the years by these people. I have met hundreds over the years. Most are a step above a "credit hustler" now. Non have a bankroll or even think of bankrolls. They never save for that "Big Play". We usually end up hiring these guys. Usually it's drugs, drinking, sportsbook, and of course cocktail waitresses are these guys downfall. I'm sure there was a wandering eye or two at the table but i surely never saw it. Thanks for the professionalism, truly appreciated.
Now !!!!! Here's what i'm thinking , every once in a while i have to "burn" a joint .
No not that kind!!!! A casino with some nice coin being made by some not so nice guys. Sometimes its "My" casino if some team tries to push me out. If it's small potatoes i just burn it. Either i make the money or no one does is how it works.
I have in mind a place with a few guys from 8 years ago that have caused us a few problems. Mainly horning in on our action. I would truely love to bring my new found friends in and just run over these guys. Of course, I would BANKROLL the whole endeavor!!!!! 4 to 6 guys would be nice, but!!!!!!!!!! if i had ten descend upon and destroy what these guys were doing. WOW!!!!!!!!! Nothing to fear from these guys,
they don't even look mean!! LOL!!!! Homeschool would protect all of us i am sure!!
Then DeathClutch our x marine if i remember right. Ya baby!!!!!!!!! :whip:
Of course there would be plenty of time to hit the pits also.

Steve, I think what CP means to say is that, as you know, APs are very protective of games that they play, and his game is a bit of a rarity indeed. a bj bash report of sorts
another great road trip for Y and I
two of the guys flew, piloted planes to the bash
what an experience be it from land or sky
we arrived a bit late, no need on this trip to be rash
just wouldn't have wanted to miss the MMOA meeting
Creeping Panther, Daddybo, Deathclutch, Homeschool & his sweet gorgeous intelligent wife M, JackBlack, LonesomeGambler, Machinist, MartyAce and PrinceDragon made for a fine greeting
all of us friends before hand just meeting
and each and every one was kind and gracious
CP provided private accommodations most elegant and spacious
even provided snacks, drinks & the staples
turned us all on to these fine blackjack tables
it was great chatting and listening in our fine private meeting hall
the word networking may be cliche but it's real meaning not small
CP's old worn notes, articles and books were scattered about
the obvious use of which speaks experience, knowledge and AP clout
cordial and fun, and obviously a bunch of dangerous bj predators
and there amongst us sat Machinist
calmly, patiently dispelled the fog in our midst
amazing how this pitifully uninformed gentleman turned out to be a really smooth advantage operator
seems casino's have spun a most complex web
enticing with bait to capture and consume the unwary
unknowingly they catch their own selves up becoming embedded
in the very net within which they haul in their prey
dinning at their great tables, in their gluttony dropping crumbs of gold
they realize not the value as their pets feeding below are really predators wise and bold
it was my pleasure to share a table with Daddybo, Homeschool and CP
while Y played and i coached Y, lol CP & Daddybo take a break, reason no mystery
Homeschool & Y betting min as it should be
conditions improved and CP & Daddybo returned,

Daddybo & CP laying it on the line all the while we playfully talked jive
pretty much that casino blackjack table got burned
so we stroll about listening as a band plays live
seems as if every corner we turned
another MMOA predator we passed along our way
Princedragon was kind enough to take my place as y's coach at another game
seems for a few moments i couldn't stay
dragon whispered the count of seven when back i came
with that info it became Y's pleasure
to bet up and get in return good measure
so i wander about past the tables in process
MartyAce is busy raising bets, LonesomeGambler is betting out of sight
playing on and on riding the waves of success
the MMOA blackjack bash goes on into the night
for a while a bunch of us stop our predatory prowl
and enjoy a meal from the grill
swapping stories and tidbits of information
enjoying our food and revelations
where is JackBlack? he was at a table with some college girls
on ward into the night the bj bash unfurls
next morning a group of us share breakfast and conversation
just enjoying this bj bash vacation
then it's back to the tables and more play
on and on it went through the day
Machinist would watch and then go check his machines
eventually he revealed to each of us his magic
real EV from slots in more ways than one if you can imagine
kindly he took us under his wing and revealed unthinkable tricks
and then after loads of blackjack play it was our pleasure Machinist and I to discover
a bank of machines with a house EV so low that it was virtually a coin flip bet
and then we hear a rumor that one of ours had blown his cover
turned out that was not quite the case, but three pit critters did crowd him a bit
a fond memory for me was when the Stealthy Won dropped a black chip for a bet and the dealer busted
and another of ours i can't remember had a sweet bet riding as well on that count
when all our MMOA group had went their way excepting Deathclutch we had the pleasure of sharing with him some play our last night out
Y and I had enjoyed profits well above EV but this last session was proving most brutal
but the nature of these games has a way of providing some wiggle room and opportunities that Y and I and Deathclutch seized the opportunity mutual
amazing how some well placed bets work out with double downs and splits at times
and how sweet to place a raised bet and have the blessing of a snapper appear bringing up that pile of chips to just meet EV for the night
i think Deathclutch saw Y's jaw almost hit the table and eyes light up when that bet worked out just right.
so Y and I finished the night making those special coin flip machines sing a bit in a special rhyme
bidding farewell to Deathclutch with a salute while he played on at his table as this special bj bash ended.

I never knew blackjack had so much fighting involved in it. I am skilled at keeping much bigger, older brothers away, but that is about the depth of skill level for me. I might be qualified to count, but won't be able to keep up without formal training in these other new areas I guess i need! :laugh:
