I don't post often but I got this from a good BJ buddy. I want to share some details.
There was a post on bj21.com where the original poster ("OP") stated Bear exaggerated his Reno trip reports. Unfortunately, the post was subsequently deleted.
The first part of the post was on how easy it was to get a green chip membership on bj21.com. It also talks about the lack of third-party verification of posts. That means I can get a GC membership as Joe Blo and then proceed to make up bogus stories, i.e. about my BJ skills, my bankroll, my trip reports, etc.
The second part of the post had the good stuff. There's this guy called the The Chaperone who brags he lost six figures in one day but then proceeded to win it back the same day. Obviously, there's no one to verify this. The OP pointed had The Chaperone played in a casino that could identify counters, The Chaperone would have been backed off before he won back his money.
Then it goes on about how Bear exaggerated his Reno trip reports. The OP compared Bear's Reno trip reports against those of two seasoned Reno counters. The OP found the two seasoned counters had losing sessions and constantly struggled to make money. The most important observation about Bear was that he never had a losing trip. Then the OP pointed out Bear routinuely wins money from Three Card Poker (TCP) but Bear never mentioned TCP in his trip reports. The OP concluded Bear's winning trips from his BJ play were misleading and thus exaggerated.
If the post had contained wrong information, Bear would have easily refuted it. However, act of taking down that post points to a coverup. There were some truth to the post because it is a known fact Bear plays TCP.
