Next thing you're gonna tell me is that you can make a cue ball reverse it's direction by applying a 1/4 tip low English with stroke. Such nonsense! It's just an optical illusion, don't you know?:laugh:
BTW, did you get my PM?
I can make the cue ball dance around the table and whistle Yankee Doodle Dandy. I'm not sure about that 1/4 tip low English though. Sounds impossible to me.

Steve forte ran a test in which he set the dice and dropped them from a height of ten inches 6,000 times.
Just when I was thinking someone should build an "Iron Byron" except for throwing dice. If a machine using same force each time, hitting same spot, dice set the same can't produce unlikely results in a casino setting, I guess I'd say the countermeasures casinos have instituted are adequate.

If it could throw the same number every time or whatever, maybe it's possible.

Any reason 2 or more throws thrown exactly the same wouldn't produce the same result? Do laws of physics change? No machine could be that precise each time? The felt and bumps would change with each throw?

If such a machine couldn't do it, would it change anyone's outlook lol?

Yeah, I gotta agree there. It's the same baloney as Dick Tracy's two-way wrist TV, bunch of bunk.

1000 throws and that will prove if it can be done?

Like I said before. When I get a practice table I will greatly post my results. I am just tossing on a flat surface now. Even if I do good now doesn't mean I will do good on the pyramid backing but I think I found a way to get past the pyramid but I have to get a practice table to practice on to see if my thoughts are right or not.

As soon as I get a practice table I will greatly post my results.

Not sure why you want 1000 throws.

It takes a persistent touch. How the dice feels in the hand. when to release the dice and corrections needed when you release them. Machines can not do that.

It takes a human touch.

And Dice control isn't hitting what you want. it is not hitting what you do not want so you have a more of a chance hitting what you want before you hit the seven.

It isn't like you say I am going to hit a 5 and throw a 5. It is more like I want a five then throw them till you get the five. But you set the dice where you have a better chance of hitting the 5. I most try to get the point numbers. I am getting better and when I get a table to practice on I will be at my best. Plus I will be getting a hypnosis cd to help get into the correct frame of mind.

Rumor has it that the "dice control" myth was the brain-child of a highly secretive consortium, convened some time in the early 70"s, in a bomb-proof bunker in South Tahoe and headed by the triumvirate of Henry Kissinger, Bill Harrah and Indria Ghandi.
The product of this historical occurence was two-fold, as the other item did, in fact, manifest itself almost immediately,i.e. the gas crisis of '72.
That is an incredible tale and I like it, but...
...YOU'LL NEVER WORK IN MY TOWN!! zg

I said I would stay away but this morbid curiosity keeps me going. Must be like getting hooked to soap operas or something.

Hypnosis CD's as an investment for Dice Control.

And I thought there wasn't anything new under the sun lol.

May you recover your investment in tables and CD's lol.

As silly or crazy as what you may be doing might or might not be, you're still way ahead of alot of card-counters lol.

Bless you my friend and all the best.

Not with my brain. I had a brain Injury back in 1991 June 3rd and my memory isn't so good.

Well anyway I did learn how to solve the Rubiks Cube and can solve it in about 2 and a half minutes. The fastest I have ever solved it was about 90 seconds but my average is about 2 and a half minutes. I can do it faster at times.

I can learn but I have to figure things out for myself.

I will also make a subliminal CD myself and use that alone with the Hypnosis CD. It is suppose to let you remember muscle control better so you can remember how the dice feels in your hand, how they feel when you release them and suppose remember everything that it takes to be a good dice controller. How hard you threw them, how far from the wall you was, How far from the table top you was when you released them and so forth.

I feel I can get Good at this that is why I am going to get that stuff. I feel I will have to pay out about 200 Dollars to get everything I need to practice everything right.

I will try to make my own Craps table and If I do that and it look good I will try to sale that and that will help get some of my money back so if possible I will try to even come out with a profit.

If that works good I can start making more tables and sell them at rock bottom prices.

I just Got Married January 5th 2008.

to ChefJJ so after practicing and doing research for many years did it not work for you? i don't know how research would help apart from what DI is about , i think it comes all down to physical practice i myself got interested when i saw the show on breaking Vegas , i have to admit it is quite interesting . i got a pair of dice and have to admit its alot easier than pple expect as in making the dice spin in syn in the air , to me its all physical if DI works or not.

In regards to different tables surfaces and such i don't think it really matters to much if u have already mastered throwing the dice accurately then it shouldn't be a problem you will just need to adjust the throw . IMHO im going to test it out for a yr as in practice for a yr then try the tables.

i believe all games are beatable in the long run , but you must have some sort of basic strategy of play even if theres no mathematical proof , the biggest killer is urself as in you need to know how much u are willing to lose and win although its the most simple advice its the most hardest to control even for pros , you have a straight line if u wander of that straight line the slightest you can kiss your money good bye

are u referring the flat back part right underneath the pyramid?
Yes. I have read, not determined on my own, that if the dice controller can hit this spot with the dice floating in tandem along a single axis and with backspin, they can minimize the random effect. Who knows?:laugh:

I think that as long as people have been throwing dice, there have been "lucky" methods. tosses, spins, backspins, girl throws dice. (girls are always lucky lol) etc etc.

I like craps, but dont bet the hard numbers, c/e or other poor performers.

this dice control could just as easily be in the voodoo category..

i thought the rules in craps is that it must hit the pyramid back as in the little triangle? so it still counts if u hit the flat bit? , lets say u roll the dice and it bounces and just lightly taps the back wall is that still counted as a throw?

Usually they allow it; it's really up to the discretion of the stickman.

They will still count the roll even if it doesn't hit the back wall. First you will be warned to hit the back wall. On the next roll if you do it again they will warn you again and may say hit the back wall or you will lose the dice. This is usually how Las Vegas will treat you, if you're playing at an Indian casino anything go's with these guys, in fact they may not even count the roll if they have to pay you.

On a recent trip to Vegas my buddy and I each had a big roll at Harrah's, after I shot it was my wife's turn ( usually we just have her pass the dice) she missed the back wall 2 shakes in a row and the pit went crazy, in fact it got to a point that we started to razz him for being a jerk to take some pressure off the old lady lol. Obviously she wasn't controlled shooting and had no clue but my friend and I were and we beat them up pretty good so thats what had him so pissed.
