There you go. I got the first 15 down. It is kinda daunting. I noticed that some say 100.76 and some say 100.77. Weird.
It does look daunting at first, but I'll bet that you can easily make sense out of it. That's how I learned bj BS, by making sense of why the play is made. I also can pretty much recall the chart just by visualization. It cant be that hard, its just memorization...

Ok, I just got a brilliant idea. Do people play video poker professionally online? Can it be done? Dueces Wild does exist. You don't get comps or cashback, but .77% edge is good enough for most video poker pros I think...

In my very informal experience, every time I've looked at online casinos' VP, they tweak the paytable to make the EV worse than the full pay B&M equivalent.

Suppose I could find a full pay .77% edge online game. Would anyone recommend playing that? I mean do advantage players play online video poker?
I do not think you could find a game that pays out over 100% online. At least not a significant amount, like .77%.

Well I will call them first thing tomorrow to get this all straightend out. They don't have anyone answering their phones now. They wouldn't be advertising 100.74% if it were'nt true.

I trust pinnacles numbers. But this could just be variance like easyrhino said. Although I am sure pinnacle gets enough action for their to be very little variance...

I asked on Fezzik's Place if their were any online full pay video poker games and someone said their were but he wouldn't tell me any casinos. If they are out there I will find them!

Ken Smith, and anyone else who knows, what is your guy's opinion of Rob Singer?
He is not respected AT ALL it seems like at his home of fezziksplace.com. When I was reading those forums on a daily basis he was constantly put down anytime he posted.

From what I have read from his posts I have disagreed with. He once said something along the lines of, "It is only a good bet if you win". But that is completely wrong, you can make a GREAT bet and still lose. So I would be wary taking any of his advice.

But I do know that he claims to be a professional video poker player...

Yes he appears to be a professional and said, "I'm the Gaming Today VP columnist going on my 7th straight year this month. That, after misled and misleading long-term strategy gurus Skip Hughes and Bob Dancer were fired for boring incompetency."

Here at this thread: (Dead link: http://forums.lasvegasadvisor.com/messageview.cfm?catid=36&threadid=221718&FTVAR_MSGDBTABLE=&STARTPAGE=2)

He seems to be unorthadox. That is why I seek an opinion from someone that knows video poker.

There are a few that pay over 100%. For example 5 Dimes has full pay Dueces Wild. Grand Virtual Joker Poker is slightly over 100%, assuming I did the math right. However, typical online bonuses make a 0.77% edge seem insignificant, including bonuses that are given with each deposit at some casinos.

The original poster asked about video poker variance. I wrote a video poker variance calc awhile back at http://www.beatingbonuses.com/vpcalc.htm , which is useful for crude estimates (crude because approximates return as normal curve and uses MG paytables for DW, rather than full pay). Variance is huge compared to BJ... ~20x larger for single hand DW. If you search around, you should be able to find some risk of ruin calcs or similar

Variance of Full Pay DW -- ~25.8
Variance of BJ -- ~1.3
