Have you downloaded the spreadsheet so you can see how you are doing compared to expected?

That's the main idea - learning how to assess your results kinda-thing after you sim the basics. So you can do it individually too even though this is a "team" thing. The other main thing is betting as called for - no big bets just because you are losing lol.

In that vein, Aslan, what are your individual results? Always a 50-500 spread with your KO?

Thanks for pointing out that card-counting glitch - that's where I'm playing (when I do lol). I'll keep an eye out for it.

I must have missed something along the way. I had no Idea there was a spreadsheet to download (or where to get it from) I've been using CVBJ for all the playing I've done and every hand is still recorded in there.

No problem at all. It's not like you need the spreadsheet or anything. It's just something that comes from the original sim to hopefully make life easier, maybe answer a few questions, see how the sim gets some of its information on ROR, see what your EV is for so many hands played, etc.

In any case, here is the one for a Hi=Lo player betting this many units at these TC's, using no indexes in a 6D 80% game, etc.

CVBJ is a great product and I suspect in it somewhere you can compare avg bet amount/hd, maybe how much was bet at each TC etc.

Basically, after all, what good does it do one to only know I won $3K in 3000 hands if you were expected to win $30K or only $0.3K in those same 3000 hands.

Now ima thunkin(I mean thinkin) we begin a new thread(ZG, is gonna love this) and a) keep the same game, or b)change it slightly or what have ya. Hopefully kc wont have reformat all his algorithms, around.

First we need to establish, if everybody is in support of this. So if anyone objects, speak now or forever hold your peace. (Ive heard that somewhere before)

Anyway ive been thinkin about a few names for a new thread if we decide to restart and whether or not we would want to change our name.

1) Weekend Warriors P2
2)Wild hogs
3) Tele-tubbies<:whip:
4) The DreamTeam
5)BlackjackBandits
6)Powerpuffgirls<:laugh:
7)Anything goes
8)Fallen Saints

Tell me what you think? if anything at all.

Let me know, when you get signed up. Im no pro, but it was there, where I got my experience. Its all absolutely free, with no spam or anything.

Remember a good tournament player is also an advantage player and on this site you get to see first hand, how easy it is to beat out other players with just a little bit of logic and common knowledge. Theres tournaments all over the place. Dont waste another second and get signed up today...........#1

I could use some reviving. Seems like a couple of weeks since I played any WW hands. I played until I got above EV, and then kind of lost interest.

I think we all need a fresh start. Are results are skewed and invalid, plus we reached NO and 100K.

Tell me what kind of game appeals to you. # of decks, rules etc.

Im game for a 6 decker with excellent rules.

My thoughts:

For the new game, I think the conditions should be such that it could be played on software freely available to all. I’m thinking specifically of the BS Trainer. That way we could get more participants, without them having to buy software, or make their own.

I’d kind of like to see a DD NDAS game. I play mostly 6D. There are some DD games I could play, but between the fact that they’re DD and NDAS, I don’t know the basic strategy. If I were forced to learn the BS for the Weekend Warriors, it would help me out. Plus, we could use a smaller spread, which would make it even easier to use the BS Trainer.

I think the new thread should just be called Weekend Warriors II.

Or we could name it after sagefr0g: Weekend Worriers :joker:

I'd actually like to see a DD game with rules I'd see in Vegas. I find my biggest issue is counting down a large shoe game. I can do a single deck in under 30 seconds but a 6D or 8D shoe is really really tough to stay focused on at home... nevermind the casino (I'm very much a deer in headlights.)

Im a Weekund Wurriur but i gez I can be a BlakjakBandido two. Why we gotta change? I wuz jus gettin yoosed to tha old name. Cant we name the thred sometin else an keep our old name at tha same tyme? Realism might kill the fun? Atlantic City realism would be 65% pen except now and then 75% to 85%, certain dealers, and now and then 60%, certain dealers. Forget I mentioned it. 80% is more fun and makes you want to find a real life game with same. Plus, we have a much better chance to win, and who wants to lose when you're just out to have some fun.

I wish we could all use the same software, but not one you have to buy.

Also, I'm still waiting for my check from the last sessions. That was for real money wasn't it? A bank check will do--nothing fancy.

i'm kind of on the fence. only because we reached N0 and it would be interesting to see how it goes according to theory if we played on some.
but if we do start anew i think i'd be interested in a DD game with crappy rules and crappy pen.
like DD s17ndasnra double 10&11 only pen circa 55%
