i went to a casino for the first time yesterday and played blackjack..i won some money even though i didn't know what i was doing (i didnt even know what doubling down was...i just got really lucky!) and i had alot of fun, so i figured i'd learn all the rules and go back again.
so today i read all the basic blackjack info on this site about doubling, splitting, etc etc and i memorized the three basic strategy charts. i've been using the blackjack game simulator on this site, and the game just seems really bland and boring to be honest. all i do is remember what was on the basic strategy chart and then act accordingly....so i'm positive i'm missing something or else there wouldn't be a whole forum for the game. there's card counting, but i read that it is kind of useless in games with a large number of decks...so what else is there?
now that i know how to play every hand according to the basic stategy charts, what else is there to learn? (websites with more info would be helpful too!)
