Patterns in baccarat

Hi everyone,

I've started a FREE private forum SERIOUSLY devoted to new overall baccarat systems, eg to look at ways to use a neutral count to indicate when straight card-tracking would be useful. (When the various ranks are more likely to be evenly distributed, the specificity of the ranks to baccarat outcomes may be important.)

Anyone interested, send me your username, and i will invite you.

Sincerely, Mark.

Baccarat IS beatable!

G'day,

Baccarat IS beatable!

Anyone who says otherwise just doesn't know how!

There is a difference between knowledge & opinion!

Maybe, but probably not.

There are several ways to beat the game both legally and illegally. Unfortunately the legal ways that I know of are not practical under the casino conditions I have seen. Either these guys know a technique that I don’t, their casinos do not deal the game the same way mine do, or they are not using legitimate techniques. After reading through some of the posts on that website it sounds like they are using some sort of “pattern recognition” system to detect “biases” in the short-term results. Does anyone else smell a Cipher system?

[EDIT: Didn't traynor try to push this system last year?]

Thanks for the replies which contained real content. To the others, i simply replied to someone else's post with my knowledge/opinion. The link was reciprocated on each site. My own posts there surely say i'm at least trying to be sincere. I'm NOT SELLING anything. I just enjoy the possibilities, past and future, presented by the game (as yet) financially beatable or not. We're not all like the "shrewd" crowd pretending to be the next "21" stars. Mark.

I don’t doubt your sincerity or your integrity. I only doubt some of the ideas presented on that site. It’s nothing personal. :)

Actually, I think most of our responses were directed at "MiniBaccarat," not you. Having a forum to discuss how to beat baccarat is fine; claiming you have some special knowledge which is unavailable to everyone else is likely a scam.

Good luck with your site. If you ever figure out a way to beat baccarat, milk it until you get kicked out of too many casinos, and then publish a book on it. I'd look forward to reading that book. :)

Beatable? Sure, why not?

In a John Scarne book, he talks about an Asian woman in Vegas who turned $200 into $250,000. It's extremely unlikely she managed to do that without some sort of winning system... :cat:

could it be just be luck streak? i remember reading a roulette player who made a few million in the end he lost it all and admited that it was pure luck and his system he said he used was bs

It certainly was a luck streak. Given the number of people playing in Vegas, and for so long, it was only a matter of time before someone rides an incredible streak on dumb luck. It says absolutely nothing about a possible system to give the player an edge.

what happens if you count the cards lets say using 2 cards , for example if teh cards are dealt and they add to 6 its +1 count , does that work or no?

Your suggestion is of only slight value as high cards being depleted favor the Player bet and small cards and faces depleted favor the Bank bet.

The basic problem is that the "effect of removal" in Baccarat is simply very very weak compared to Blackjack.

The 3's, 4's, 5's and 6's are the key cards as it were.

what happens if it was the other way around? lets say your 2 card value is 2 you can make that +1 , -1 or 0 what ever works when counting .

or is it i have no idea what im talking about, ( i don't know the maths behind counting cards but i know how to count ).

i know that the effect of removal isnt as strong as bj as the max card ur able to have is 3 and bj much more. but if you count 2 cards as " 1 count "

It doesn’t matter how you count the cards. Any method you use will not be profitable because the game is not very volatile. The house edge does not change very much as the cards are dealt so the player rarely has an advantage based on the composition of the remaining cards. If the game doesn't become positive then even the best possible counting system will be a waste of time. The problem is not with the counting system but with the game itself.
