Zen betting schedule

#1
Hi, im just learning the zen count and was wondering what betting schedule i should use in the following circumstance: 6k bankroll, playing 8 d shoe. 10 min tables. I wanna spread either 1-12 or 1-16. Using 1 deck tc conversion btw.

Arrrgh. 8 deck? Yuck. Does your local casino have nothing better to play?

If they do, I'd suggest switching. The fewer decks the better - even with a zen count. By the way, that 6K bankroll is impressive. I'd be inclined to sit on a $25 min table though to get the sort of spreads you mention with some certainty of coming out ok in the end. With high spreads you could be putting in 300-400 dlrs per hand. You'll want at least 10-15 chances at that level just in case things don't work out as expected / doubles go wrong etc.

Best of luck - let us all know how you get on.

davidpom did you read that right? he said a 6K thats six thousand dollar bankroll here in the USA. not really enough for a nickle table when you get right down to it.

Hmm, 8 Deck, 6.5 deck penetration, S17, DAS, Zen Full deck estimation with full indexes, spread 1:16, $6K bankroll, $25 min bet, perfect play and optimal betting.

Answer is 66.2% risk of ruin.

Is this lifetime risk of ruin, or risk vs. chance of doubling?

Also in terms of betting lucky ladies, i read in another thread u should bet it at tc of +10 for double deck. Since u bet it at +7 with hi lo in shoe, is it right to pressume to bet it at +14 with zen

lol i tryed to sim this but couldn't believe it.
well i know nothing about the zen count or variations of it.
but damm from what i was looking at in the sim...... is it really that good?
i mean so good to be betting such high spreads with a bankroll of only 6K and some crappy eight deck game?

Here's my tweak. Someone give him a properly simmed spread. zg

Tc / bet
0 / 0
1 / 10
2 / 20
3 / 40
4 / 40-40
5 / 60-60
6 / 80-80
or a possible alternative:

0/0
1/10
2/20
3/20-20
4/40-40

Wongin

5/80-80: Play all
