Considering sitting down and only playing positive counts. Figure I'd be making bets close to 50% of the time. Anybody doing this? Would likely be playing 2 spots, 2-4 units each spot, gives me a 0:8 spread. How much heat is this going to draw?
 
If the place even allows mid-deck entry (most don't) you'll get heat quick.

It's insanely powerful if for some reason you can get away with it for any period of time. But, good luck.
 
Surprisingly most around here do allow mid-shoe entry... up to $100. The problem is the table min. All have $25 min but only 1 has $10, a couple $15. So to have any ability to rotate stores I'm playing $25. Just looking for a way to get a better edge with my bankroll.

Well, in that case, play for like 1/2 hour. Don't cash out your chips between sessions. Should make a killing.

As long as I start the slipper I can sit out some hands and get back in as long as I don't leave the table, maybe you can too.

However, if you do this for any length of time and misuse the option I think you would not only get barred but the rule will be changed to disallow.

I use strong indice plays in the negative counts or just take a break or play no more hands. But sometimes I will jump back in.

Don't abuse a good DD game or they will go the route of SD.

Every wong helps, so you could also be "polite", and wong into the table before you sit down or, or after breaks, and also wong out not all negative counts.

a gem of an idea..... ^

i'm a little less bold. sometimes i just sit out every other round 'to change cards' in mild negative counts, so now i play half of the hands, not ideal, but less noteworthy than sitting out the rest of the shoe and maybe more compulsive looking...

if count tanks worse - off to the wizzer!

That's an idea. I was in a shop recently because I had a $25 free slot play. The place was busy with four pits. Good DD rules, but 50-60% pen. I didn't see any reason to play. I was checking pen on differnt dealers when I noticed that mid-shoe entry was allowed. I started wonging DD shoes. I didn't sit down, just moved around like a true wonger. When the count got to +2, I approached the table and put my chips in the circle as close to third base as I could get. I played a few hands and picked up my chips and moved when the count tanked or when the shuffle came. The players didn't always like it, and I got one or two looks from pit critters, but I logged a small win. I wasn't planning on ever returning as I can find much better games, but it was interesting while it lasted. I don't know if this helps the OP or not. Depends on the size of the casino and how busy they are.

I liked the idea of not cashing in chips. That way you can just wong in with chips without pit coming over to verify your buy-in. Sometimes the dealers will get in one more quick hand while you're putting your cash out on the table too, but if your chips are in the circle, they have to deal you in.

When I play DD i wong out at least once every 20 min. on average. I go to the bathroom, get something to drink (plus you dont have to tip the waitress) or face a phone call or text message.
