Well, I went to see AC DC recently. Great concert, best I've been to in a long time. I couldn't hear well for about 3 days. Anyways, here is how I used that to my advantage 
Sat down on a 6D and waited for shoe to get finished. Newbie dealer :joker: Low and behold she cuts at what appears to be 90% + :grin::grin: Play through the shoe, count gets as high as +10. After the shoe was over, I asked if the dealer would just spread the cards on the table. She does!!! There were only 12 cards left in the shoe!!!!!! I couldn't believe it! I was playing with a 1/2 -10 spread, $10 betting unit, not carrying if I get backed off as I'm over 3 hours from home and I only play there maybe once a year if I'm lucky. After two shoes, I'm up about $600. I've been talking to players at the table about the concert and how I can still barely hear from all the ringing in my ears. Pit critter comes over and asks me if I would please to a break and stop playing. I pickup my chips, go to another area of the casino to chat with my wife. I decide, what the hey, why not just eat this stuff up. I go back and watch a couple more cuts, they are all at least 80%!! The place was so busy, and they only had one pit boss there, so I went to the other side to play. Sat down, played at least 2-3 more shoes, up another $7-800 :joker: Variance was being good to me. Pit boss comes over and looks at me funny. I just smile and say hello to him. He asks me to leave the table, so I said okay. I get up, cash out and go eat at the buffet. Come back awhile later and he is gone. I sit down, play another 2 hours. Finally, the pit critter comes back, sees me. And says, don't you get my message?? I said what, I can't hear you. I went to the AC DC concert and didn't understand what you said. He laughs, says I didn't know. The dealer started in about how I had been talking about the concert and that I couldn't hear her most of the time when she was talking to me( I could) :eyepatch: Pit critter gets about 2 inches from my face and says goodbye, you had your fun at the concert, and at our expense, now leave. I smile and say thanks, you are right. Got up and left. Up over $3,000 I've never had a quick hit like that. Hopefully variance stays on my side for awhile.:cool2:
