i believe this is a problem isnt it??after every hand dealer puts the few cards dealed back in the shoe..its a 4 deck table.does this cancel even a good counter?how to deal with this problem?

Is the "shoe" in this case actually a continuous shuffling machine? Seems like there may be some terminology confusion in this post.
 
well,this is how the game played in the 2 casinos in greece.after every hand,the dealer puts the cards back in the shoe,which probably is automated suffling mashine...bad news...what to do?play only basic strategy?

The best option is to not play against those machines at all. The next best option is to bet the minimum and play basic strategy. If the casino will give you free food or other bonuses then you might be able to make the game worthwhile, but otherwise don't bother.

even if it is not a suffling shoe,counting would be meaningless if the dealer puts cards back in shoe after every hand.
because then i can ntot keep the true count(because 4 decks in the shoe all the time).correct?
 
If it's really not a shuffling shoe, it's a very nice opportunity for someone who can take advantage of it. Sort of unrealistic, though.
 
Just play basic strategy or do not play at all

You should consider it the same as playing the first hand of a shoe every single hand, over and over and over again.
You will always be at a disadvantage.
We do not consider this a shoe because the whole stack of cards would have to be removed from the shuffler and placed into, what we call, a shoe and then dealt out to some deep point.

I think your talking about a CSM, does your "shoe" look something like these?

That's a CSM (Continuous shuffle machine) NOT a shoe. (Not to be confused with a ASM) The CSM's pictured are Shuffle Master 1-6 machines. You will never get a worthwhile advantage counting against one of these and if you are a BS player or a ploppie you will lose your money quicker. Most folkes here will agree that they are to be avoided like the plague!

There have been many previous posts regarding CSM's and their effects on the game. Try searching for "CSM" for more info.
