MGM-Foxwoods & $20 trick

I'm staying at MGM Foxwoods in June and I'm wondering if the $20 trick (giving $20 to the desk clerk and asking for a complimentary room upgrade) works as well in Connecticut as it does in Las Vegas. Anybody know?

Not worth the trouble, simply because the rooms at those stores are all like premium Strip properties and an upgrade doesn't get you much.

Only exception is the Two Trees Inn at Foxwoods which is low-rent, but perfectly habitable.

I'm sure they can find you a hooker for $20 too. But, you really don't want to go that route...
