What are the table LIMITS at this "best game in North America" ?
I imagine that the B J Bash would be a virtual galaxy of fun (especially for twenty-somethings), but re: costs, etc.
I have played games in rural casinos this year that are almost even "off the top" ...
but if the games are $5 to $200 there isn't much point to flying cross country, renting a car to get to the outback, etc.
Any A.P. rationally knows that betting over 1/3 or 1/4 of the table max is a HUGE Red Flag to wave for the 'Eye'
It is not like surveillance can ignore you in favor of watching players who are betting white and red !

why sure rr, like just me maybe the point of the bj-bash isn't so much to bash the particular venue that it's held at.
like just me maybe, lmao, this tremendous amount of money that i make playing blackjack,:joker:, lol, even the miser i am, i figure i might spend some of that money on something some day.:laugh:
point being, there is nothing wrong with killing two birds with one stone. lol, in technical terms i think that means +ev comes in many forms, but i don't have an equation to prove that.:laugh:
just my experience maybe but the twenty somethings seem to have a remarkable capability for coming up with a heck of a lot more scratch than i've been able to bring myself to potentially part with, and i'll be the big six 0 here shortly.:birthday:

It has nothing to do with age, we need a wide range of ages.
Why do so many of you look for excuses to not get together?
This is more a social event at a place with very good games, not a who is the biggest bettor, best player etc.
It is rare to find others with like interest. I ran into a 71 year old while eating in the casino and it became apparent quickly to him that I was no ordinary gamer and he became so excited in talking to me I thought he was going to cry.
Game wise you will not find better.

Of course I would be worried about group pictures. Do not insult me with such foolishness and sarcasm.
I am merely stating facts. Casinos wouldn't deal deeply if card counters were the primary concern.
Less downtime, if even to switch out cards from ASMs, multiplied by many tables 24 hours a day, will produce noticeably greater profits for a casino.
This store realizes it is more effective to utilize the eye to catch counters who are actually a serious threat to them rather than make the games themselves less profitable for them. A few card counters being in town for a weekend is not going to change that!

They do have high limit blackjack you know. Yes, on the main floor you do have low limits, but even then there are many people there on an average night playing green, or even black.
And there are no "white chip tables" just to clarify things.
Not every casino in the midwest is a small, poorly maintained hole in the wall where any bets over $25 stand out. I am sure many will be surprised, and impressed by the facility itself, to say nothing of the blackjack.

Truth is no one knows for sure the location or even if it will be held again this year.
If it is there will be changes for new attendees.
I am also wanting to get Ken involved in this event as it should be a BJ Info backed event.
One thing for sure, it cannot be held at a locale with bull **** games.

I'd be very interested. I find that I learn best and the fastest with good ol fashion face to face interaction. As I'm sure most others do too. Cost of trip should not be an issue as this would be free lessons for all. (informal lessons) think of all other industry conferences where they meet up and you have to pay an exhorbitant amount in fees as well as trip cost. BTW, PLEASE don't charge fees to meet up and have sessions with peers. Maybe charging for formal classes would be okay. LOL!! Advanced card counting tactics held in Banquet room 5. After which, we shall hit the tables in the same hotel and apply what we learn. Or signs that say "BJ Bash attendees meet at BJ table 4 at 1pm for the tutorial "How to beat casino heat"

You are mistaken. We target no casino, but hold it at a location with fine games and good affordable accomodations. The casino will take heavy action and applies no heat. This is about a social, fun event, exchange of ideas, learning, networking and then playing some fine BJ on your own, or teaming with someone if you like. We do not take down a casino.
The truth is PSY, most AP's that are any good have already been ID'ed and they live with it. Most that are lacking have never been ID'ed and spend their playing time worrying about it:laugh:
The BASH has always had great cover and security and this one will be no different.
