If you're thinking like a casino executive, you could also say that they're so predisposed to addiction to drugs, alcohol, and porn, that getting them hooked on gambling should be just as easy. Casinos are aware that a large percentage of their income comes from people with addictive personalities. It makes business sense that they would try to leverage it by seeking out demographics with a lot of addicts.
