Trackers Alerts: At least a few casinos have changed their procedures in shuffling and dealing, i.e, Casino123 has spent 10 minutes on retraining each of its bj dealers on how to defeat trackers. Casino456 also has re-invented the toughest procedures to beat trackers, & its bottom line speaks for itself, i.e., 456's bj winnings have gone through the roof recently. If you snooze, you will lose! If you have been beaten badly in the last 40 days (especially in Casino456), now you know why;):rolleyes:.

Wait... implementing a more complex and time consuming shuffle has increased their bottom line? Since that implies less hands per hour, and since profitable shuffle trackers make up less than 1 in 10,000 casino patrons, wouldn't the opposite be the case?

Or maybe that was your point all along. ::joker:

I think more accurate numbers would be 1 in 10k are profitable COUNTERS. My guess is that profitible trackers are closer to 1 in 100k.

How can I send you a PM, Tico? it seems as if you have them turned off. I am curious to know which casinos you are talking about.

also, a tracker would notice the change right away, since they have to eyeball and follow the slugs throughout the shuffle process.

His estimate may not be far off, since I understated to avoid belaboring the point. There is a big difference between people who may have dabbled in tracking or who style themselves "shuffle trackers" and those who are truly able to show a consistent profit through tracking. It is notoriously easy to deceive oneself into thinking that one has an advantage tracking, when in truth the high cards just aren't showing up. This has been the case even with relatively high profile teams who tried it.

Some do, some don't. You might as well just find a dealer with a very consistent shuffle and handle his shuffle mathematically instead of visually. You can do better math at home with your computer than you can on the fly at a casino. But a good ST will notice a change in his dealer. AC doesn't have anything really great anyway.

Quiz: Which AC casino had the easiest shuffles? Hint1: a dealer once was able to finish his shuffle in 21 seconds flat. Hint2: almost all the AC APs had shown up in that bj pit for a few months ;):rolleyes:.

Still, if you mean trackers who were beat, you are saying that they somehow missed the change??

Or did you mean regular counters too? zg

I still don't understnd - fast simple shuffles make the house more money.
Slower more complex shuffles cost the house money. zg
