Stop it, genius! :whip: Ex: [4] + [4] + [3-1] + [3] = 14 After the first two shuffles he had a streak that lasted 4 more shuffles, not to mention whatever he won in the first two shuffles and the shuffles after the "on fire" streak. ;)

It's funny the concepts people have about card counters. A guy today told me that the way the casinos stop counters is they use 7 and 8 decks to make it impossible to count.
 
They were running a charity event and had the sense to know you could have loaded the deck with tens or used counterfeit chips, but they didn't have the sense to keep ties? Or to know they might lose $125 on a $5 table?

The catholic churches around here all have fundraisers but they keep ties. I thought about holecarding one of them where the guy manually checked under every upcard, but the edge was small and I felt bad about it, even though I'm protestant.

What is not BS about hitting some 16s and not hitting others? Obviously pulling a 5 when hitting 16 isn't BS but neither would standing with the dealer showing a face card.

They used to win pushs but no one played their games. "The Tie is Back" was a big promo about a year ago.

My day job involves loan applications. There was a pastor with a listed monthly income of over $9000.

No vow of poverty for them!:laugh:

My pastor gives the majority of what he makes to the poor. No vow of poverty there either. It's voluntary. It's the kind of income redistribution the politicians don't seem to understand.

I couldn't find a "tongue-in-cheek" simile, so I used sad instead. ;) I agree with your statement; and I personally believe that religious institutions on the whole do MUCH more good than they do harm.
