I think it's not equivalent to an infinite deck, but equivalent to a deck that is shuffled after each game. Drawn cards are inserted back into the CSM after the game. (If somehow cards were inserted back right after each draw than it would be an infinite deck)
The difference is minor, though...
Drawing AA from an infinite deck is different from drawing AA from a finite deck that is shuffled after each hand.
Even in a CSM game you cannot draw the very same card twice. If the first card is an Ace, probability that the second card is an Ace is below 1/13.
In an infinite deck it's always exactly 1/13.
Difference is minor, but I'm open for discussion.
Effectivly, the player draws from a x-deck shoe. The only difference is that he doesn't get any real penetration (besides the cards on the table).
Counting rules for CSM games:
RC=0 before each hand. Pretty boring, right ?
