Late Surrender Option - Help

Zen, DD H17 DAS LS

I'm confused as to which is the correct RA decision for the following card combinations; I've seen them listed two ways;

16 vs 10 SR
16 vs A SR
15 vs 10 SR
14 vs 10 SR ( if 7,7 )

and also listed as'

16 vs 9 SR/9
16 vs 10 SR/0
16 vs A SR/5
15 vs 10 SR/5
14 vs 10 SR/12

My question, do you simply surrender as in the 1st list or do you surrender only if the TC is = to or greater than the indice number and O/W H if lower as in the second listing?
Also, will the decision change depending on card depletion?

If you are counting with zen use the second list. The first looks like a basic strategy list. And yes you surrender at or above the index. I don't use zen but the second list looks wrong. Double check the indices with another source. Are you using the better zen or the true advantage version?
