A casino I like is having a special offer, (its probably a typo because it sounds too good to be true)

(DD or 6D) H17 DOA DAS RSA up to 4 hands NS 75% pen

suited BJ pays 2:1
any 6-7-8 pays 2:1
7-7-7 pays 2:1

my question is, how should this change my play? Also what does this change the house edge to?

The suited BJ is worth about .57% reduction in house edge. Not sure about the rest.

The other 2 are worth very little. 777 is worth 0.03%. I'm not sure of the exact number for 678, but it's close to that.

I don't know, it's worth a lot more in another game we are familiar with. Especially if you modify your strategy a bit. I'd play the hell out of it!

That's too bad. For when this sort of thing arises in the future, get Professional Blackjack by Stanford Wong. He has a ton of info on all of these promotions in there.

And his book "Basic Blackjack" has even more info on unusual rules. Hardly "Basic".
