Next book to read?

I have the urge to read another book about counting.
having read KO and Bluebook II I was wondering what the next book should be? I've been thinking about Blackbelt or Professional BJ - any thoughts/advice?

Put the Kiss III count together with what can be learned in Burning The Tables in Las Vegas by Ian Andersen and the casinos will tremble as you approach! It's also a fun read aside from being very informative. Good luck.

Play Blackjack like the pro's by Kevin Blackwood is a great read with general information covering several counting systems.
 
It depends on what the next stage for you is. Are you still looking for books on the basics of card counting? Are you looking for a specific counting system? Are you looking for advanced techniques like betting and ROR? Are you looking or camouflage techniques? Are you looking for a fun, adventure story about card counting? There’s a lot of information out there. Ask yourself what you’re hoping to learn.

Then again, why settle for a book? "The Hot Shoe" is a fun DVD with tons of great interviews on it. It is available on this site.

hahaha, yeah i guess i should have been more clear. i've read bringing down the house and watched the blackjack institute dvd as well, the former amazing, the latter not.

i'm sticking with KO, 100%. that doesn't mean that i wouldn't be interested in reading about more advanced counts.
i think betting and ROR are definitely the next area i need to focus on as those definitely need to fall in place with the foundation i've been working on.

but even good accounts of how to prepare for a casino environment would be in order, especially just some more info on logistics of counting sitting at 1st vs. 3rd, playing heads up, etc. whether this is in a formal counting book or an adventure book matters not!

camouflage isn't so much of a problem for me right now, as my max bets are pretty un-radar-worthy, plus i half-fake not knowing BS pretty easily (because sometimes i still pause thinking about it).

i've looked for the hot shoe other places, maybe i should just pony up and buy it here ;)

In that case I would recommend Don Schlesinger’s Blackjack Attack. It starts with an exciting diary-style chapter describing his playing style in AC and his dedication to the art of Advantage Play. The next chapters cover betting techniques, variance, RoR, side bets, indices, different style of Wonging, and many other topics. It is a great book that teaches the foundation of card counting. If you already know how to count cards, this book is the next step.

Maybe I need to read it again, but I thought BJA was too heavy on the math and tables of sims, and was not an easy read. OTOH, Snyder is a great writer.

I just finished BJA and am amazed at the amount of info in it. Some of the math is a little deep, but you could look at the charts for a very long time. I would recommend it too.
