Looking for level 2 unbalanced count. Advice?

I've been using KO for a while and I am looking for something that is a little better. I like the fact the KO is unbalanced and no deck estimations are necessary so I am looking for something similar. What is your take on it?

I think unbalanced Zen is just as good as balanced Zen so I think it is definately worth the switch. Although I think Automatic Monkey used to use an unbalanced count that was really easy and powerful. That might be worth looking at.

I used BRH-1 which is kind of a level 3 count, and it is easy and powerful.

System tags are {-2,1,2,2,3,2,1,0,0,-2}

But I switch back to balanced because I play almost all shoe games, and balanced is better for Wonging in and out.

Unbalanced Zen is as good as ZEN for all practical purposes, and no true-counting issues. zg

tags 2-A
UBZ: 122221 00 -2-1
ZEN: 112221 00 -2-1

You mentioned unbalanced Zen. Can that be found in "Blackbelt in Blackjack" along with balanced Zen?

You will have to get the book or really its a brochure called "The Unbalanced Zen 2" by George C. It runs about $20, just do a search and it will come up who sells it. I don't think Ken sells it here that's why I had to get it elsewhere, but I don't remember who I bought it from. It mainly focuses on double deck.

UNZ2 is barely harder than KO. The only difference is that it's level 2 (should be easy to get used to) and all the indexes are not at the same number like in KO. Both of these are easy to overcome for me.

man, i was playing around with the Ben Franklin (aka Monkey Count) last night and counted down a few double decks (with new values) and was amazed at how easy a level 2 count was after a few tries. I could stumble through 2 decks in a little more than a minute. i then went back to KO for a little more practice and struggled like a bastard! it was very strange. maybe the level 2 is calling to me....

anyway, i was never really aware of the advantage of an unbalanced level 2 count, hence i was toying with a balanced level 2 count, but now you've all got me thinking..... this could be a very good thing.

I think it IS IF its adequately mastered. zg

hi, relative beginner here. i have been considering switching from KO to UBZ2; i haven't yet because from what i have read, the betting correlation is higher with KO, and that BC is what is important when playing 6 & 8 deck shoes... is this the case? if so, then why would UBZ2 be a better choice for 6 & 8 deck shoes if adequately mastered? the fact that it's level 2?

also, i haven't purchased George C's UBZ2 booklet yet because i hear that it's mostly geared to single and double deck, and most of the games near me are 6 & 8 deck. does the booklet go into strategy/index changes and betting ramps for shoes? or would i have to purchase software like CV to generate that info?

thanks!
