The poor card counter?

good job guys, no room for losers here, he was probably Billytheblackjackkid or another wannabe card counter from the past

now lets win some money!! $$$

the author of The Theory of Blackjack, pretty much claimed he didn't win anything at the game. see page 2, in the introduction.
however, as I recall, Peter Griffin reportedly did go on to do well at the game.

If I may borrow from Bjarg, whether a player starts with a modest or magnificent bankroll and whether they win or lose, there are some people who will always be losers...

Don, have you ever mentioned in any of your posts how much you won? I have no feel what so ever how you have done over the years. I remember in Blackjack Attack of you telling the story of going to the casino and losing. I also think once you mentioned you had one losing year in your life. I can't remember where I read this, probably one of the forums. Any chance you might disclose how well you done over the years?

Yeah, I already corrected that before I saw your post. It's a typing thing. Half the time that I type "thing," I think I'm hitting the h, but it doesn't appear. Of course, that's no excuse for not proofreading what I wrote.

Yes, probably. Really sorry. I'm a poor typist, and despite my patience to proofread everything I write, I make so many mistakes the first time around that it's a miracle that I manage to find 99% of them. It's very frustrating. If you saw what the first draft of any of my posts looked like, you'd be mortified. I know I am. [Six typos in this post!]

there's a simple soulution for that.
just screw up everything you tipe on porpose the way I do. that way every once and a while you'd d get it right by accident? o_O
oh, wait, I know that would never set right with you, sir. just saying. :)

Yup. I really needed to have taken a typing class, even though I did have a course in junior high school. I am not slow, despite two-finger "hunt and peck" technique. It's just that I must have fat fingers, and I simply hit a terrible amount of wrong keys. I also invert letters, often having to reverse two-letter combination that my brain simply always types the wrong way. Frustrating.

What comes first quotation or question mark?

If the question or exclamation is at the end of the quotation, the question mark or exclamation point comes before the closing quotation mark. ... A question mark can be found outside the quotation mark if the sentence is asking about a quotation, but the quotation itself is not a question.
