Avoid 6-5 BJ, but what if...

I never play 6-5 BJ, but it was a busy saturday, no openings except an empty table at a single deck. It was called BJ Frenzy. BJ pays 6-5 BUT, DD at ANY time (4 card 11 ex.) DD after split, split 4 times, split aces once, and no even money. I gave it a try and won $200 1 on 1 in 1 hour, $10 min..what are the odds??
 
6:5 is basically worthless unless you find another angle to give you a larger advantage than counting will.
 
Deep penetration and a casino that thinks 6:5 can't be beat can make it a worthwhile game. Add in the DD on any number and it might be decent.

Like with just counting it may be worthwhile? Or only if you're getting some kind of edge another way along with it?

As he said, if you can find a deeply dealt SD game and are allowed a large spread, it MIGHT be. Good luck on finding the first part of that puzzle though. Might have better luck finding sasquatch.

Just for counting. But obviously if you have another angle for an advantage a higher house edge won't matter a whole lot. The games exist.
 
Thing is about 6-5 games is that you have a higher chance of finding a more inexperienced dealer on these games and many more dealer errors that you can manipulate to your advantage. Combine that with the fact that you find this 6-5 game on a pitch game and you just might find a nice holecarding opportunity. But don't hold your breath.
 
I'd rather just wait it out, and play at a 3:2 table than trying to find some obscure way to increase your edge like dealer errors. That's just me though :)
