4 deck

I don't know any in Vegas itself,but in the town of Searchlight(about 30 miles south on the road to Laughlin),there is a casino with a 4 deck game.Its only open Weds-Sunday from about 2pm on.Be advised the town is a notorious speed trap as 99.9 % of the people passing thru it don't stop,and tickets are the towns main revenue source.
 
Having played at only a few places....but walked by many tables in vegas, as of last summer i saw 4 decks at Excalibur, Mirage, MGM, Flamingo off hand. I think pretty much every place has a 4 deck on the strip i visited, you just have to watch the pen :grin: It depends on the day of week and time of day is what i've found for BJ in general....everywhere...as far as decks, min/max etc.

Effing Laughlin!. I got a ticket there in 1987 for going 60 in a 55 zone. Wasn't a speeding ticket per se. What they call a "Waste of natural resources" ticket. My four cylinder rice burner using too much gas? These schidtheads need their municipal brains rearranged. My wife laughing her ass off as she was the real speed demon of the family.

Me? I'm an old geezer behind the wheel. I never speed.

I should have just defaulted on the ticket as I lived in CA.

One of my friends got his license suspended in another state from a speeding ticket. I thought it was pretty ridiculous that they could do that, across state lines, without a trial.

You're entitled to go back to the state where you got the ticket for a trial.

Searchlight is pretty funny. When there is no real cop, they have an inflatable cop in a police car on the roadside. It makes me think of that scene with the automatic pilot from Airplane.

Some states, typically neighboring ones, have reciprocity that way. Same is true about points affecting your license and insurance.

4D on the Strip- no way. There is very little 4D dealt in Nevada. The best place to go for that is Wisconsin and Minnesota. They tend to be pretty good games for a low/medium roller.
 
The only way to get a 4D game on the Strip would be to play a 6D game with 2 decks undealt.

(... and no, it's not the same).

that I saw was at the Tuscany. I haven't checked CBJN lately for it, but I'm pretty sure it was gone a year ago.

I know that Trop, MGM and Hardrock use 4 decks in their CSM's, while most places use 5. There may be some regular 4 deck in Searchlight, but not in Vegas.

i played a lot of Texas Holdem Bonus on my last trip, because the BJ tables were cattle fields. I must have played a $25 6D at the Mirage then, i thought it was 4.....it was 2am and i was loaded though...my bad :laugh:

I should have kept renewing my MA license years ago. When i had parents in Boston anyway.

Aside to Monkey: One great idea, if you are among the stealthful is this.

Remember the wheels coming off the car in "American graffiti" Yeah well sorry that doesn't work. Just snaps the cable.

Instead replace that inflatable cop with an inflatable girl.

Leave a printed note behind making fun of a cops ugly wife. Just do enough research beforehand to identify a real cop. Helps if his wife is really ugly too.
