Step 1) Play roulette with big bets.
Step 2) When the house edge grinds you down, bet more.
Step 3) Profit!

What a joke. I can’t tell you how many superstitious ploppies I’ve seen always standing with 14, 15 and 16. If I had a nickel for every one of them I would be rich. He uses the same system every other gambler does: Stand on a stiff and double your bets as you lose. He actually thinks he invented the Martingale! Maybe if he invented it 3 centuries ago.
Throw in a little "flow of the cards" voodoo and a little "I can make the dealer bust" nonsense and you've got the casino's favorite kind of sucker. I hope he's at least getting some good comps.

Perhaps, but professionalism doesn’t mean playing inaccurately and using a worthless progression system. In fact, that's the opposite of professionalism. That’s the part you’re missing. You’re increasing the house edge and betting bigger into that disadvantage. It doesn’t take a professional to see how ridiculous that is.

Because your luck will run out, and so will your money. You can't rely on luck and expect to win forever. That's exactly what every other gambler does, and look how much money the casinos earn. The casinos are smart because they don't rely on luck. They have the advantage over you. If you keep playing they will eventually get your money.

I've had some great days with the strategy trainer in "virtual dollars". A few 35K days before i got bored and quit. then once over at yahoo games I went up ninety grand in one weekend. Just kept tripling losses in higher counts.
So it could happen for real. My estimate though is that this is a dangerous position for a gambler to be in. He doesn't realize that you don't get these positive variances every day nor maybe every year. So he expects high earnings every time.
It's a long ride home when this doesn't happen...
Now unless he's a trust funder and waits around for a new dividend check to come around every month I'd say he's being a fool to play a progression system.
Here we go! A conclusion is made without testing anything! Now, I will admit that Skyboy's system sounds a little bit "off", but you guys really have to stop dismissing everything before you try it.
Do card counters have low self-esteem? Why the need to bash others on a daily basis? It's not about caring to help someone, it is about putting people down.

why do these people join these boards, i dont get it.. thats like joining a jewish board if your a nazi, it doesnt make sense.. your here to do what? change an entire board of counters/basic strategy players into crazy made up system players? betting systems do ONE THING, and that is change your rate of winning/losing or how you win/lose, but in the end, the amount lost will be the same.. for every 99 people out there that fail with a system, there is 1 that succeeds, but its just due to luck, and if you keep playing, you will eventually lose

I don’t need to jump off a cliff to know what will happen. I don’t need to use a progression system to know what will happen. Common sense tells me that both situations will end badly. Following common logic can save you from a lot of mistakes…if you use it.
First we try to help someone. If they don’t understand, we try to explain things more clearly. If they purposely choose to ignore the proof and continue to tell lies, we have little choice. If somebody refuses to learn, what else can you do? How do you handle someone who wants to be ignorant? If you can ignore them, by all means do, but if they refuse to be ignored then you have to make sure that other people don’t make the same mistakes they are making. Since they can’t be educated, they force themselves to be ridiculed.
This becomes even more important when it comes to gambling systems. Many people have lost everything they have due to an irrational belief in a “foolproof” system. Even more people have lost money or been swindled by sneaky system sellers. Even though there is centuries of proof and common logic published in books and all over the internet, some people still don’t know that these systems are bogus. Knowing the truth can make a huge difference in someone’s life. I’d hate to think that someone quit their job and put their life savings behind an unfounded system they found on this website. The only way to protect people is to educate them. If they refuse to be educated then you must discredit them so that nobody else suffers their fate.

You will eventually err in your judgements. It is impossible for you or anyone to prove that there will never be another strategy found to be successful to beat BlackJack. When one comes along you will dismiss it. No one ever believed that anyone would set foot on the moon. It happened. There are probably thousands of ways to beat the casino just waiting to be discovered.
