Question for a few experienced players

I flat out admitted on here I'm a rookie, I got lucky made some good cash since AP 6-8 weeks ago. I only played 2D and was told that was not the best game by many of you. So the last few nights I've been practicing 6D at home ( CC a 6D, spreads etc..) But my questions are this: Is there less heat in 6D games in general? What is decent pen. in 6D? I'm more interested in the heat.

DD games are often better than 6d games, so if others told you the game you were playing was inferior it was probably because of the penetration or the rules.
Now if a 6d game has the same rules and poor pen, it will also be a poor game, so for this I would need more information.

As a general rule, since most double deck games are better than 6d and prefered by advantage players, the heat is greater on the DD game.
At casinos that offer both games they tend to concentrate their surviellence on the DD game.

There is usually very little surveillance attention paid to 6 and 8 deckers. A boss may catch you, or if you spread a ton and look like a counter, you may get noticed. Double and single deck games tend to get hawked a lot more. But it depends; many casinos don't even have competent surveillance, or the surveillance really doesn't give a **** unless your max bet is $500 or so.
