It's unfair to leave out that most of those casinos where they are apt to cheat are the run down, out of the way ones. I guarantee you that doesn't happen at Foxwoods or Mystic Lake, extremely profitable enterprises that don't need to cheat to win.

If it's based on results, yes it's likely made up. If it's based on seeing something suspicious, that's a different story. Especially if you know what to look for.

Because of the wear-and-tear that goes on with SD, I'd bet that they change these decks more frequently than the every-eight-hours schedule for the six-deckers.

There are 2.5 places where I suspected cheating. One was a gambling boat off NYC- no regulation of the gaming whatsoever and no spreading of cards, looked like a stacked shoe from my count. Another was a very remote Indian casino using a false riffle, why they were using a false riffle I don't know so I can't opine as to who was cheating whom, but it was definitely being used. Several other casinos in this area have reports of cheating from much more experienced players than I.

The 0.5 was a dealer in Northern Nevada who was sleighting the discards when I was doing some ace sequencing. He was blowing the shuffle making it easier to sequence, but then using a sleight to change the position of each ace in the discards. Almost like he was trying to trap me. Is that cheating, who knows? Also, is preferential shuffle cheating?

Preferential shuffling is cheating. It alters the odds of the game.
