Atlantic City Trip in November

Greetings all, I am going to Atlantic City in November and would like to win some money playing blackjack. I have decided to put some time into learning card-counting and playing as much as possible before hand. I would love some feedback as to what books I should read and how often I should practice counting cards and what I could expect with this as part of my gambling arsenal. Any feedback will be appreciated.
 
Blackjack Bluebook Vol 2 seems to be the standard book around here, but there are many good ones.

For a tutorial style try
Blackjack Blueprint by Blaine.

I'm personally using Blackjack Bluebook II by Renzey.

I've read all the above and a dozen+ more.
All above are worth reading.

November is pretty close.... first things first. you must learn proper basic strategy and use it in a live casino before ever attempting to count cards. if you can't master BS, then you will never make a dime counting cards.

it's posts like these that should cause casinos to open their arms to "card counters". their coffers do need to be refreshed from time to time :whip::devil:

This cannot be understated. You need to know BS cold--fracking cold!!! This is not school where 90% equals an 'A'. Listen up Private, if I run into your bedroom at 4:00AM, screaming through a megaphone to wake up, you better be able to recite BS with 100% accuracy. Then, maybe you'll be on your way to becoming a soldier.

What I would suggest is to write it or type it completely right now. Then check it for accuracy with one the books we've mentioned already. Deduct a point from a hundred for every incorrect answer. 24 hours later, do it again! Then, again! Do this until you get a score of 100. Then do it 72 hours after that score of 100 and again if necessary. Then do it 7 days after that second score of 100. Then two weeks after that third score of 100. Then, it should be burned into your brain until death do you part.
