For Las Vegas C.B.J.N. is about 98% accurate and is updated every month.
In remote areas of the country the updates can be years between updates.
I, personally, have rated a few places for Stanford Wong.
The short response is YES, for Las Vegas, it is nearly 100% accurate - with the understanding that the info provided cannot be fully guaranteed - since management can change the game conditions any time they wish - even a minute before you walk in the door.

You assume correctly - I usually scout my own games and I walk a lot anyway, so CBJN is worth less to me than it is for most people. My friends and I purchased a few issues in the past when we tended to play-all and stay in 1 or 2 "good" spots for longer periods of time.

I advised them a reported game (far from LV) had been removed a month prior to their report. I also commented on some other conditions that weren't consistent with my experience. I received a polite expression of appreciation. On the next month's report, the same non-existent game was reported, so I asked with a bit of an annoyed tone for an explanation. No response. They got it right the third time. In spite of this, I regard it as a useful indicator of what one might find; much more efficient than physically making the rounds.
