Odds of losing 20 hands in a row without any pushes?

More clearly written, Neither of the dealers needed to shuffle in my presence. The shoes were full, and they looked like 6 deck shoes. I was playing at the table solo with both dealers. Forgot to mention that.

Sorry. I took so long. No neither of them shuffled the decks were in the shoe.

Odds of losing 20 hands in a row without any pushes?

I don't respond to posts that often but in this case, I feel I must. Years ago, I did a 2 week stay in Vegas at old Sands, JUST before they blew it up. I am sure it was the Sands where this "event" occurred. I sat down at an empty 5 $ table and proceeded to play a soft positive progression...

Blackjack Info trainer version 2, sufficiently random to call it good enough ??

Thank you very much for the insights. Do you know of any simulators that I might explore ?? Thanks

Blackjack Info trainer version 2, sufficiently random to call it good enough ??

Sorry, I should have been more clear. I know that a BJ computer simulator program generates the hands by using an RNG or PRNG. So my question is: Is the long term mix or stream of hands dealt and the hand outcomes wins/losses/ties/ etc. while playing the Blackjackinfo.com version 2 game...

Blackjack Info trainer version 2, sufficiently random to call it good enough ??

Howdy gang, I have a fairly straightforward question. The free training program on BJ info, specifically version 2, are the hand results random enough to use for research purposes ?? Thanks, Bklyn

How many trials to physically prove or disprove a certain edge really exists

Thanks a lot for the thorough treatment and I will pay attention to the points you made. Thanks, bklyn

How many trials to physically prove or disprove a certain edge really exists

Yes, Thanks so much for hanging in there with me. I need to be more clear. You are correct, the game is blackjack. Here is what I am trying to discover: 1. I know what the negative expectation should be. under normal circumstances 2. If I have a method that I think can "beat" (nullify and...

How many trials to physically prove or disprove a certain edge really exists

HI Gronbog, Thanks a lot for the help. I am not exactly a math wiz, can we do the calculation right here on the forum, do we have enough info to even begin solving for the answer, all we have right now is the edge value. I don't know where/how to go from there. Thanks, bklyn

How many trials to physically prove or disprove a certain edge really exists

Howdy to the Community, I have a probability/statistics question that I would like a little help with if possible. If I play any gambling game that has a "supposed" negative edge against the player of 1/2 % How many physical trials (hands) would it take to prove out or disprove that the 1/2%...

    The mechanics of an edge

Thanks Dog Hand, I guess I would answer that it's because of raising the wager during that +1/2 %?? Yeah, I'm still a little mixed up to a degree because, and perhaps I am mistaken, When a person tries to verify an EV they should always be able to ( I think) prove it by using the gross...

    The mechanics of an edge

Hello Don, Thank you very much for breaking things down for me once more. I'll pick up BJA3 today and apply what you have mentioned. bklyn

    The mechanics of an edge

Hello Don, I have gone through what you mentioned here and I think I grasp it so thank you very much for the expert breakdown. I would like to apply that logic to a different "system" pay off matrix per se. to understand some of the outputs that would flow from it. Let's say that I have a...

    it's all about TIME

In Honor of my pledge to contribute, get a hand give a hand. I have faced this question in a different arena, trading. My position on this would be to play for the same X amount of time and do that always if you physically can. (If you could play multi hands that would accelerate your gain...
