Just read through Summers book on percentage play...the strategy chart from him is different...has percentage play been computer tested with millions of hands to determine effectiveness...what do you think of it?

I am noting Thorp does not count the 7, but Vancura and Fuchs advocate it as "+1". Thorp mathematically indicate the 7 as a 2.05% advantage if the 7's are not used. Is this percentage statistically important, and am I correlating the 7 correctly as that advantage?

Hi all, am a new user (and BJ player): In studying the basic strategy, I have used Thorp's in "Beat the Dealer". However, I find different ones posted elsewhere, including on this site. Are these changes the result of more modern abilities to compute basic strategy, or what has been proven...
