Double deck, they give you the cards upside down. Took a brief moment for me to learn a good way to count, but I figured it out for me. Especially since ppl get their cards flipped over for winning side bet or doubling down or splitting but then the next card on double down remains...

Question for seasoned profitting Black Jack players (2 deck or 6 deck?)

I am taking a break for the rest of the year, will start back up next year. Had my biggest loss ever in my career....$1,500 in one night...and now down $875 for the year after 70 hours this year...and almost 1,000 lifetime hours. A break will do me good. Plus, I am in transition of job, going...

Question for seasoned profitting Black Jack players (2 deck or 6 deck?)

Double deck (with correct penetration & typical rules) gives you the best chance to be profitable. The ONLY thing shoe games might help with is that there are more of them, so you can have a better chance of not being detected as a card counter, but that is it!

    First 100 hours

Not great, not terrible. I am 68 hours in for the year and down $100 for the year...so basically "even" which I have been a break-even player through my career (hobby only) that started in 2019 where I played 650 hours, then played about 100 hours in 2020. ***EDIT*** I know the seasoned...

Question for seasoned profitting Black Jack players (2 deck or 6 deck?)

I realize there is a high possibility of going tilt...but a greater possibility of not. I am totally aware. But, what good does it do to say that I have a $10k bank roll....then, if I lose $5,000, well...I am back to the point that I have a $5,000 bank roll...and the cards aren't going to say...

Question for seasoned profitting Black Jack players (2 deck or 6 deck?)

Yeah, it is no fun (for me) to lose $2,000 of a $5,000 bank roll in two days. Well, I had expanded my bank roll to $6,200 before that hit. I have recouped $1,200 of the $2,000 loss since then. If I was new, that would be not terrible, psychologically. However, I played (2) years, roughly 750...

Question for seasoned profitting Black Jack players (2 deck or 6 deck?)

Well, I am playing most days still. It did at least stop going in the wrong direction. I'm very new to this larger spread. Sure hope I can play the rest of my life off this $5k bankroll. I'll keep you updated periodically, not daily as I know that is extremely annoying and pointless lol

Question for seasoned profitting Black Jack players (2 deck or 6 deck?)

After playing about 800 hours, I am not going to be fake. (650 of those hours were in 2019) I do everything right, no matter what. Play like a robot w/ my bet spread, best strategy, and Illustrious 18 index, while wonging out at -2. Now, playing with a larger bet spread to, hopefully, get...

Question for seasoned profitting Black Jack players (2 deck or 6 deck?)

I tested out the (2) $25 bets starting out last night...and I like it!! From a purely emotional comment here...if I can break that $1,000 mark, it will be very emotional for me. You have no idea how much of a wall I have been against to hit that...every time I get close, it has gone the...

Question for seasoned profitting Black Jack players (2 deck or 6 deck?)

I like that idea a lot, actually. Never thought about that. The $25 on the first two hands played. Also, yeah, I can start doing $25 on +1 counts. I will incorporate that.
