Rivers We were there also and we counted 8 ASM tables currently down from the previous 16 a couple months ago. Six of the eight are all in one pit. About midday the ASM tables were full and the CSM and electronic tables were empty but as the night went on there were so damn many people...

Rivers Damn bad news there. That is one of my favorite places to play. We had not been there in about a month and had even seen a few months back were they had changed a couple tables from CSM to ASM's and thought at that time maybe they were trending towards a better game in light of Cleveland...

They do not offer RSA, they were typically cutting 3/4 deck but we seen several dealers that were in the 1/2 deck range. They only reason we stopped going was due to the difficulty in getting a seat. Thanks for the update. Marlin

Last I checked their DD was alive and well but every time we visited nary a seat was open. Maybe time for another visit. :) Marlin

What we found there yesterday was 8 deck ASM cutting 1.5 decks with a cover over the shoe hiding all the undealt cards. The damn hole was packed with Asians and Indians wanting to piggy back our green stacks with their dollar. Interestingly I did see one bold fella double a black stack with ace...

From several recent experiences Meadows is clearly cutting two decks off. Maybe it just the dealers we have run into but if i recall correctly they use a slot in the 8 deck shoe. Maybe you're a better tipper. Like you I much prefer Rivers. Marlin

We just got back from there yesterday. I highly reccomend TC as well as Little River in Manistee about an hour to the south. TC's game is much better but Little River albeit a bit tougher (no LS) on EV but the store has great service and dealers. Pen is 85% and better at TC =) and 80% at the LR...

I counted as many as (6) ASM $10 dollar tables there yesterday. Take a walk into the back corner by the Wheelhouse Grill there were three ten tables there yesterday afternoon. They also have two new $10 ASM's by the bus entrance recently switched from CSM's. Congrats on your engagement. Marlin
