What Vancouver casino? Sounds like you're talking about one of the many casinos using a CSM in the area, yeah you're wrong, a CSM offering 1 deck of pen is unbeatable. BTW it is NO HOLE card blackjack, if you surrender versus a 10 or A they wait for their hand to be completed before paying you...

What is the basis of the SCORE? Snyders profit index?

The pen is barely 60% and the "one" table is typically busy, this table is a long run loser.

I Don't Know How Counters Don't Get Noticed

I sense some angst in your post. No? Feel like making a citizens arrest? Wouldnt that be something. Having another player report you to the casino personel for counting.

I don't believe any of the Washington casinos are 18 or 19+. The only hand shuffled casino is in Burnaby, BC that is 19+ but it has bad pen and is only playable by backcounting and wonging.

Thanks Diver, I'll keep that in mind. Are the rules Dbl 10,11 NDAS? How about the Slo Pitch Pub & Casino in Bellingham? It looks completely vulnerable the last time I checked it out.

    Counting in British Columbia

Hi everyone, I havent posted in years but the past few weeks recharged my counting batteries after seeing 21, as awful as it was. I have Casino Verite and can play the hi-lo perfectly using indices from -1 to 6. Living in the Vancouver British Columbia area limits the possible casinos to...

    Buying the Moron's BJ

Snyder goes on to explain how the professional gambler thinks of even money. I've re-written it quickly to explain. "When he has been dealt a $1000 BJ and the dealer shows an A up, Since 4 of every 13 cards in a deck is a 10, then 4/13ths of the time you get paid zero instead of $1500. 1/13th...

    Buying the Moron's BJ

If you're flat betting black chips sure, don't take even money. There's a good chapter in Snyder's The Big Book of Blackjack explaining the true value of a blackjack vs an A. Although mathematically it may be a bad play, assuming you have a max bet out and a limited bankroll, like most of do...

    Buying the Moron's BJ

Since the true value of a $100 blackjack vs. an Ace is $104 I wouldn't have a problem taking even money, because I typically don't bet w/ black chips. I think the bigger goofball is the one trying to buy a hand for $3 dollar EV.

    6D or 2D

ZG, isn't a betting spread without specifying the TC betting range pretty vague? I've been playing the 6D shoe w/ a 1 to 8 spread. $5 units, but because the minimum bet is only 3 dollars it's more or less a 1-13 spread. And with the great 83% pen I figure this is beatable and within my $5000...

    6D or 2D

Hi guys. I've been playing 6D H17 DAS DA2 Surr 83% pen w/ Wongs Hi-Lo indices from -1 to 6. If I'm playing 2D H17 NoDAS D10,11 No Resplits No Sur 75% pen, can I use the same strategy numbers? Or would they vary too much? Also what do you figure is the better game? I'm guessing the 6D...
