Thanks for all the replies. Are there risks beyond getting barred from casino for doing this? I was thinking I might be able to use them to wong into games too...have them sit down at a table and play and just stand behind them and socialize until the count gets high then decide to sit down...

I have some friends that will be going on a Vegas trip with me. None of them are APs or have any desire to be, but it got me thinking. Would there be some possible ways to use my non-counting, non-basic strategy playing friends for cover? Please let me know your thoughts.

Shadroch how much should you sit down with? I've read that your bankroll should at least be 1000 times your betting unit. Is that correct? Surely you don't sit down at a ten dollar min table and whip out 10g's...I feel like that would attract some heat?
